MIKE HAMILTON
A native Vermonter and Middlebury College graduate, I came to Maine over 30 years ago for what I thought would be a year to indulge a passion for sailing and yacht design. I never left—a true testament to the quality of life and diversity of experience that the Midcoast has to offer. I’m a 25-year resident of Topsham’s Historic District.
My wife, Daria, works with kids with special needs in the local school system. We have been married 32 years and have three grown daughters—all of whom, thankfully, have remained close by. When I am not working, I like to spend as much time as possible in the garden or on the water. My own old house continues to be a work in progress.
Mature, diligent, and thorough, I also try to maintain a sense of humor about the unexpected things that life will inevitably throw our way. In addition to the many contacts and resources I have developed over the years in real estate, I also have extensive experience, knowledge, and contacts in custom design, building, and remodeling, including top-notch tradespeople. I’m easy to get along with and a good problem-solver. Before real estate, I had a long career in residential design and custom building. This experience informs a unique perspective on all of my transactions, whether you’re buying or selling.
